I get a lot of CD's sent my way....but in a mix of about 4 other packages I knew this one package was special. First of all the envelope was a pleasant yellow...not the harsh orange/yellow that is so common in North America.

The colour alone grabbed my attention, "hmm what is this we have here" I thought to myself. I grabbed the stack of bubble protected packages and stepped out the door. I couldn't wait to be wrapping my hands around a nice hot green tea...in this weather I really need it...today it wouldn't only be used as a natural anti-oxidant.

I started to examine the yellow envelope. Where was this from? Who sent this to me? I flipped it over and I instantly knew...and knew I would love whatever was inside. This package had come from a place of love, from someone who knew I would fall in love with the contents.

There were tons of colourful stamps on the outside of the envelope and lots of markings. This package had traveled a long distance to get into my hands and eventually my ears. The stamps were very foreign, they had their own style but they worked and allowed the package to get to its destination. The combination is what's important here.

My favourite part was the personal little touches that were both inside and outside the envelope. The letter enclosed was handwritten....time, dedication and thought had been put into it; this is apparent. I could actually feel it.

Writing this now I seem to be caught up on all the hands...the hands writing the letter...the hands playing the instruments...my hands typing and all the hands that handled this package.
